I started out as a crew person at my best friends mom's work, Hardees, at the age of 14. I earned my way up to assistant manager and held that position for 6 years. It was then that I was told what an amazing career McDonald's is! I was hired on as assistant manager after 2 interviews (my first ever - scary!), and maintained that position for 6 more years. At that point, I was promoted to General Manager! I have been working for McDonald's for 10 years all together. I oversee the operations of the business, the development and success of my management team, the growth of my crew, our community involvement, and our love for the organization and McFamily we have developed!
Without my loving family, I couldn't have accomplished all I have in the last few years! They mean the world to me! I have two girls ages 9 and 11 - Shelby and Hailey. I also have a step son age 8 - Matthew. I am married to a wonderful husband, Jake. He also shares his love for McDonald's as my People Department Manager. He has about 13 years experience as well. We have been married 3 years now and together 6. We hope to take a family vacation to Florida someday! In my very little spare time, I do enjoy playing acoustic and electric guitar. I am also a licensed cosmetologist. I enjoy doing hair for my friends and family when I can squeeze it into our crazy schedule!
My favorite part of working for McDonald's is growing our people and seeing the amazing results that happen is rewarding! We have so much fun growing as a McFamily that we forget we are working sometimes! In 2019, I earned the "Outstanding General Manager" award! I am so very proud of this accomplishment as only the top 10% of GMs received this award. I hope to earn many more! Being a part of McDonald's has changed our lives in such a positive way! We are excited to see what the future holds for us as we are a part of the beautiful, growing McFamily named Hart2Hart!
